(MAGANews.org) – President Joe Biden informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the phone late on Saturday into Sunday that the United States would not support Israel in a counteroffensive against Iran following Iran’s launch of 300 missiles and drones toward Israel.

Israeli news website Walla’s Barak Ravid initially published the chat specifics. Ravid reported (using Google Translate to translate):
“U.S. President Joe Biden told Prime Minister Netanyahu in their phone call tonight that the U.S. will not support an Israeli attack on Iran and will not take part in it, a senior White House official said this morning (Sunday).
…
A senior White House official said, “You won a victory today. Be content with this victory,” Biden told Netanyahu.”
The official in the White House said that when Biden told Netanyahu that the U.S. opposes an Israeli attack on Iran and that it would not take part in such a move, Netanyahu said he understood that.
As recently as last August, the United States and Israel carried out combined air drills that mimicked an attack on Iran’s nuclear installations.
Additionally, Biden stated last week that American support for Israel’s security was “ironclad.”
However, the Biden administration has regularly recanted these claims. Although Biden stated in October that he was “unwavering” in his support for Israel’s fight against Hamas, he has been attempting to talk Israel off of crossing into Rafah to kill the final Hamas battalions.

In addition, the Biden administration has worked to extend the nuclear agreement with Iran and lifted sanctions, which have given Iran billions of dollars in benefits.
The White House seems to believe that Israel will be content with its effective defense against the Iranian reaction to the Israeli airstrike on April 1st, which claimed the lives of seven Iranian officials in Syria, including two generals who had instructed Iranian terrorist proxies to attack Israel.
Israel declared last week that it would launch an attack on Iran in retaliation for any attack by Iran from Iranian territory.
Additionally, Israel might want to use the strike to target the Iranian nuclear program or the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon, which receives support from Iran and has been firing rockets at Israeli communities for months.
However, Biden is committed to preventing potential escalation, particularly in an election year.
Netanyahu has stated on numerous occasions that he is ready to wage war against Israel’s adversaries, including Iran, without the support of the United States.
In a public remark, Biden indicated that Iran’s attack was directed toward military targets, giving the impression that he was trying to talk Israel out of retaliating.
A seven-year-old Israeli Arab Bedouin Muslim girl who suffered severe injuries from shrapnel in the southern town of Arad was the lone Israeli casualty. There is no evidence to suggest that civilians were not also targeted.

Together with the U.K. and the Jordanian air force, the U.S. assisted Israel in getting rid of Iranian drones.
