(MAGA News) – President Trump honored the memory of Ashli Babbitt and wished her a happy birthday in a video message at the “Save America” rally in Des Moines, Iowa., over the weekend.
Thousands were in attendance, filling the Iowa State Fairgrounds to hear President Trump speak for the first time since the 2020 presidential election.

The Capitol Police hid the identity of Ashli Babbitt’s killer until he interviewed with MSNBC back in August.
Lt. Michael Byrd said during the interview that he “saved countless lives” by shooting unarmed Babbitt and that he was simply “doing his job.”
He told MSNBC that he was “disheartened” and was scared and receiving death threats for his actions that day.
Babbitt’s widower responded to Byrd during an interview on Tucker Carlson saying,
“I don’t even want to hear him talk about how he’s getting death threats and he’s scared.”
He continues saying,
“I’ve been getting death threats since Jan. 7 — two, three, five, 10 a day — and all I did on Jan. 6 was become a widower. So, you’re going to have to suck it up, bud, and take it.”
The DOJ has refused to pursue legal action against Byrd, and the powers that be, have declined to release recorded footage of what took place on January 6th at the US Capitol.
President Trump said things would be different if Babbitt was protesting on the other side and there was “no reason” for her death that day.
